WWE Monday Night Raw Results 3/3/2014
CM Punk’s music hits and the Chicago crowd goes ape shit. Paul Heyman comes out and drops a “pipe bomb.” He talks about CM Punk for a while and then eventually makes his whole promo about how Brock Lesnar will defeat The Undertaker at WrestleMania.
Mark Henry comes out but Brock Lesnar absolutely destroys him.
WWE Tag Team Championship Match: The Usos defeated The New Age Outlaws (c) to become the new champions. Great back and forth match, definitely the best match between these two teams so far. The Usos won the titles with a superkick and a Superfly Splash combo. The crowd goes nuts.
Big E defeated Cesaro. Pretty entertaining match until Swagger interfered and hit the Swagger Bomb on Big E causing Big E to win by DQ. Cesaro is noticeably angry with Swagger after the match.
The Wyatt Family defeated The Shield. Amazing match which was every bit as good as their Elimination Chamber match. Seth Rollins had difficulty getting a tag from his partners, so he walked out on a tag from Ambrose and stood on the ramp for the rest of the match. Reigns asks him what he’s doing and he says he “can’t be the glue that holds this team together.” Reigns and Ambrose put up a good fight but Bray Wyatt was able to hit Sister Abigail on Dean Ambrose to win the match.
Emma and Santino Marella defeated Fandango and Summer Rae. Emma defeated Summer Rae via submission with the Emma Lock. Emma continues to do her awkward dance and somehow she makes it attractive.
Sheamus defeated Christian. Sheamus hit a Brogue Kick from the apron to get the win on Christian. Christian attacked Sheamus backstage after the match.
The Bella Twins defeated Aksana and Alicia Fox.
– Daniel Bryan and The Authority are in the ring, Bryan demands a match with Triple H at WrestleMania but Triple H refuses. Pretty good back and forth promo. The crowd ate it up.
Dolph Ziggler defeated Alberto Del Rio. Ziggler was driven into the arena by actor Aaron Paul in a Mustang. Paul distracts Del Rio, allowing Ziggler to hit the Zig Zag.
– Paul Bearer was announced for the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2014.
Big E defeated Jack Swagger. Cesaro interfered right away causing another DQ win for Big E. The Real Americans almost went at it with each other, but Zeb Colter cooled them down and made them hug it out. The end is near for The Real Americans.
– John Cena came out and cut a promo. The crowd booed him hard. Bray Wyatt comes on the screen cuts a promo on Cena.
– Alexander Rusev stood on a podium on the stage and cut a promo in Bulgarian.
Daniel Bryan defeated Batista. Randy Orton interfered, attacking Bryan causing him to win by DQ. Then Orton tried to attack Batista, but was shoved into a running knee from Bryan.
All hell broke loose as Bryan fought off The Authority, but Batista hit him with a spear. Triple H tried to get in Bryan’s face and got kicked in the head. Batista then hit Bryan with the Batista Bomb and Triple H pedigreed him.
