There’s been a lot of speculation regarding what the WrestleMania card will look like this year and Cody Rhodes punched his ticket for the big event on Saturday night when he won the Royal Rumble.
It has been rumored for months that Seth Rollins vs. CM Punk was on the table for WrestleMania 40, but Punk confirmed on Monday Night Raw this week that he will be missing WrestleMania due to injury.
WrestleVotes is reporting that plans for the WrestleMania card have taken a sharp turn because of CM Punk’s injury, Seth Rollins’ status and Brock Lesnar not being part of the show.
It’s being said that there are a number of brand new variations when it comes to the WrestleMania card that are on the table which include a number of WWE stars who were not originally pegged toward the top. The word is that WWE will be taking their time as they consider “just about everything.”
Between the unfortunate injury to CM Punk, the questionable status of Seth Rollins and the pulling of Brock Lesnar, the WrestleMania card has took a sharp turn.
