For months now fans have been embracing WrestleMania season, and even though the Show of Shows has come and gone, it looks like the WrestleMania hype is here to stay for a little while longer.
The next pay-per-view on WWE’s schedule is Backlash, but it was confirmed during WrestleMania Night 2 that the pay-per-view will be called WrestleMania Backlash this year.
It’s certainly not uncommon for the Backlash pay-per-view to feature WrestleMania rematches, and focus on the fallout from the Show of Shows, but this will be the first time that the company has added WrestleMania to the Backlash name.
The WrestleMania Backlash pay-per-view will air on Sunday, May 16 and it will take place from the ThunderDome at the Yuengling Center in Tampa, FL.
