After an entire year of build up John Cena will finally compete in his retirement match tonight at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Cena will be facing off against Gunther and a number of NXT stars will also be featured on the show.

Cody Rhodes will be taking on Oba Femi, Bayley is set to go one on one with Sol Ruca, and current WWE World Tag Team Champions AJ Styles & Dragon Lee will be facing off against Je’Von Evans & Leon Slater.

WWE had been promoting the AJ Styles & Dragon Lee vs. Je’Von Evans & Leon Slater match as a title bout earlier this week when the company posted a preview for the match which said, “At Saturday Night’s Main Event, World Tag Team Champions AJ Styles and Dragon Lee will put their title on the line against two of the hottest prospects in NXT, the explosive Je’Von Evans and TNA X Division Champion Leon Slater. Who will leave as champions?”

However, it appears that the tag team match is no longer for the titles as the updated preview for the match makes no mention of the titles and now reads as follows: “At Saturday Night’s Main Event, World Tag Team Champions AJ Styles and Dragon Lee will battle two of the hottest prospects in NXT, the explosive Je’Von Evans and TNA X Division Champion Leon Slater.”

One way or another it’s shaping up to be a big night for John Cena and the former WWE Champion confirmed during an appearance on the Pat McAfee Show on Friday that he will be closing the show.

Stay tuned for updates.
