WrestleMania season is upon us, and we’re only a few days away from the WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremony. This year’s event is loaded with big names and it will feature inductions for the 2020 and 2021 Hall of Fame class.
Sean Waltman was inducted for the second time as a member of the nWo and on the debut episode of his Pro Wrestling 4 Life podcast he talked about how this year’s ceremony came together.
According to Waltman talents were flown in the night before, and everyone was tested for COVID-19. He also noted that there were no inductors this year, and that video packages played a bigger role.
“There were none. In 2019, I don’t think there were any then either. Jerry Lawler was out there hosting like you normally would, and then it would go to a video package. It was almost like the video package was the induction.”
This makes sense as WWE never announced inductors for this year’s Hall of Fame induction ceremony.
The WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremony will air on Tuesday, April 6. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
