You never know what’s going to happen when you watch WWE programming and over the last few months fans have seen a number of main roster stars make their way to NXT.
A few weeks ago Baron Corbin returned to NXT and he immediately kicked off a feud with Carmelo Hayes. Corbin challenged Hayes for the NXT Championship last week and even though he didn’t end up winning the title it seems that fans will be seeing a lot more of Baron Corbin in NXT.
Dave Meltzer recently discussed Baron Corbin’s status on Wrestling Observer Radio and he noted that moving forward Baron Corbin will be a regular on NXT programming. Meltzer also stated that there will be more main roster stars who will become regulars in NXT like Baron Corbin.
Seth Rollins, AJ Styles, Johnny Gargano, Natalya and more have made appearances in NXT in recent months and it sounds like this trend will not only continue, but some wrestlers will end up having longer runs with the NXT brand.
