John Cena made his return to WWE programming last month when he interrupted Roman Reigns’ celebration after the main event at Money in the Bank, and since then Cena has been making frequent appearances on WWE programming. The former WWE Champion has also been appearing at live events, and his presence has helped to boost ticket sales.
F4Wonline.com reports that 63 percent of the tickets that were sold for the recent live event in Estero, FL were sold after John Cena was announced for the show.
It’s being said that Cena’s name has led to an increase from 18 to 63 percent with Louisville, Milwaukee, Detroit and Estero having greater than 50 percent increases.
During the WWE live event at the Hertz Arena on Saturday night John Cena teamed with the Mysterios to defeat the team of Roman Reigns and The Usos. The match came to an end when Cena pinned Jey Uso after hitting him with the Attitude Adjustment.
