This week’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw featured a big return, as Kane tore through the ring canvas in the main event and then delivered a chokeslam to Roman Reigns. Kane helped Braun Strowman defeat Reigns in the steel cage match, and now he will team up with Strowman, The Miz, Cesaro and Sheamus to take on The Shield in a 5 on 3 tables, ladders and chairs match at the TLC pay-per-view.

It’s been a while since fans have seen Kane on WWE programming, so his return has been met with a positive response. It was a nice surprise that no one really saw coming, and WWE apparently went to great lengths to keep his return a secret.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that WWE didn’t let any of the talent know about Kane’s return, and instead of flying into Portland, he flew into a different airport. He was then driven to Portland and he hid the entire time.
When talk of a fifth man joining The Miz’s team at TLC started to circulate, many speculated that it would end up being Samoa Joe, but obviously that wasn’t the case.
The entire TLC pay-per-view is being built around The Shield’s return, so the main event is expected to be long.
