WWE Issues Statement On The Brock Lesnar Blade Job Rumors

We reported yesterday on rumors that a referee handed Roman Reigns a blade at WrestleMania so that he could give it to Brock Lesnar to add color to the match. WWE has since denied these rumors.

WWE issued us the following statement on the “blade job” speculation :

“WWE programming is TV-PG and we don’t permit intentional bleeding. The communication or contact between our performers and referees is part of our safety protocol. That said, unintentional blood sometimes occurs, and we do our best to minimize.”
