WWE has issued a statement on former World Heavyweight Champion Rey Mysterio.
WWE issued the following statement to Wrestling Inc.
“Rey Mysterio is no longer under contract with WWE.”
So it seems Rey Mysterio will be moving on to another promotion like he’s wanted to for the past several months.
