There’s been a lot of speculation that Hulk Hogan could be returning to WWE, and tonight Hogan is set to attend the premiere for the Andre The Giant documentary. It will be the first time that he’s attended a WWE affiliated event since 2015.
With all of the buzz surrounding Hulk Hogan’s potential return, WWE issued a statement to PWInsider saying that Hogan is not scheduled to appear at any upcoming events. The statement reads as follows:
“Hulk Hogan is an important part of Andre the Giant’s history, however, his appearance at tonight’s HBO premiere of the documentary and his plans to help others learn from his mistakes does not mean WWE is rehiring him. Hogan is not scheduled to be at any upcoming WWE events.”
TMZ recently caught up with Hulk Hogan at the airport as he was arriving in Los Angeles for the premiere, and they asked him if he will be at WrestleMania 34 this year.
“No sir,” Hogan replied.
When asked about a possible return to WWE he responded by saying, “Maybe someday.”
It’s rumored that WWE officials are just waiting for the right time to bring Hogan back, but judging from WWE’s statement it doesn’t sound like the company is ready to bring him back anytime soon.
