WrestleMania 36 has become a very hot topic as of late due to the confirmed cases of coronavirus in Tampa.
The city of Tampa recently issued a statement saying that the show will move forward as planned, and now WWE has released a statement of their own.
According to the official statement WWE will be monitoring the situation closely, but there are no plans to cancel or postpone WrestleMania 36.
WWE’s statement reads as follows:
“The health and safety of our fans, performers and employees are our top priorities and we are monitoring the situation closely with our partners and government officials in Tampa Bay. We remain committed to hosting WrestleMania at Raymond James Stadium on Sunday, April 5, and like many other entertainment properties in the U.S., there are currently no plans to cancel or postpone our upcoming events.”
