AJ Styles has been out of action since the Royal Rumble, and it looks like he’s going to have to sit on the sidelines for a little while, as WWE issued a statement noting that The Phenomenal One is out of action “indefinitely” and the statement reads as follows:
“AJ Styles is out indefinitely with a shoulder injury and is recovering way ahead of doctor’s projections.
The Phenomenal One suffered the injury during the Men’s Royal Rumble Match.”
Styles suffered a shoulder injury after taking a spear from Edge during the men’s Royal Rumble match, and when he recently addressed the injury on his Mixer channel he said that Edge did nothing wrong.
Following the injury it was reported that Styles could be out of action for 4 to 6 weeks, and the hope is that he’l be back in time for WrestleMania 36.
