WWE Issues Statement In Response To Reports Claiming Superstars Don’t Want To Go To Saudi Arabia

WWE Crown Jewel has become a very controversial event, and there are quite a few people out there who have been calling on WWE to reevaluate their relationship with Saudi Arabia.

Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated recently released a report claiming that there are talents on the WWE roster who have also voiced concerns about going to Saudi Arabia.

“Speaking on the condition of anonymity, multiple members of the WWE talent roster have expressed discomfort with the idea of performing in Saudi Arabia, especially given the nation’s poor record with human rights.”

In response to the report, WWE issued the following statement:

“As always, we maintain an open line of communication with our performers, as we continue to monitor the situation.”

As of right now, Crown Jewel is still scheduled to be held in Saudi Arabia on November 2nd.
