WWE’s United Kingdom brand has been in development for some time, and last year the first ever WWE United Kingdom Champion was crowned via tournament.
This week the second United Kingdom Title Tournament is being taped at the Royal Albert Hall in London, and WWE made a huge announcement regarding the future of their UK brand.
WWE announced that the UK brand will be known as NXT UK and tickets will be available Friday, June 29, for eight upcoming live events. The events will be taped for NXT UK, a new show which will be a new United Kingdom series featuring wrestlers from the United Kingdom and Ireland.
WWE also announced that the United Kingdom Championship, along with two new titles – the United Kingdom Women’s Championship, and the United Kingdom Tag Team Championship will be on the line at the following events:
* Saturday, July 28, and Sunday, July 29, at the Corn Exchange, Cambridge
