WWE Interested In Signing NFL Star Rob Gronkowski

It’s been an incredible few weeks for NFL star Rob Gronkowski. His appearance at WrestleMania helped Mojo Rawley to win the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal and he recently appeared on SmackDown this week.

Gronkowski once again helped Mojo to victory, this time over Jinder Mahal who had recently made the switch over to SmackDown Live. It is thought that Gronk isn’t just making random WWE appearances, according to Mojo Rawley, the company WWE officials are interested in signing him.

Mojo spoke to TMZ Sports this past week and stated that WWE had explored the option of signing Gronk, but he’s focused on his NFL career at the moment with the New England Patriots.

Mojo also said that “We will have to see what the future holds” seemingly telling the WWE Universe that Gronk could make the switch after his NFL career is over.

WWE officials have signed many former NFL stars over the years, Bill Goldberg, Roman Reigns, Baron Corbin and many others have had successful careers after playing football, but there has never been anyone as high profile as Rob Gronkowski who has made the switch over to professional wrestling.

Given the momentum that Gronk and Rawley have at the moment and the fact that it has mostly been aimed at Jinder Mahal, it seems as though Rob may be forced to step in the ring with him at some point, to settle whatever differences they currently have.
