WWE has a very large roster, so Superstars come and go often, but it certainly isn’t uncommon for former stars to return to the company after they’ve been released or decided to move on.
Now it looks like yet another former WWE Superstar could be returning to the company soon, as PWInsider is reporting that WWE is interesting in bringing back former Straight Edge Society member Serena Deeb.
According to the report, Deeb was recently spotted in Pittsburgh, PA, which is where potential WWE Superstars usually go for the required medical tests.
Serena Deeb made her WWE television debut in 2010 when she joined CM Punk’s Straight Edge Society, but she was released from her contract that same year.
Deeb then worked the independent wrestling circuit for a few years and she made her return to WWE over the summer when she competed in the first ever Mae Young Classic.
It seems that there’s an influx of female talent on the main roster right now with groups like Absolution and The Riott Squad recently making their debuts on Raw and SmackDown Live respectively.
With the first ever women’s Royal Rumble around the corner it’s been confirmed that there will be 30 competitors, which means WWE will have to call in some outside names. Perhaps Serena Deeb will be one of them.
