No one can wrestle forever, so sooner or later every wrestler has to hang up the boots. But one WWE Hall of Famer recently clarified that he’s not officially retired.
Former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Booker T recently noted that he never said he was retired, and that he’s considering wrestling another match.
“I wouldn’t say one more time,” he said. “I might get in the ring another time after that. I’ve never really said I was retired.”
Booker went on to say that he’s taking a “never say never” approach when it comes to his future in the ring.
“People ask me, ‘do I miss it?’ And I go ‘no, I don’t.’ People ask me, ‘man, are we gonna see one more match?’ And I’ve always said, ‘hey, never say never because you never know what you’re gonna do.’”
Booker noted that if he does return he’s looking to wrestle for his Reality of Wrestling promotion, although he would consider wrestling at a big event such as WrestleMania if he got the call from WWE.
