Throughout 2021 fans have seen WWE release over 80 Superstars, but it looks like one Hall of Famer is sticking with the company. PWInsider reports that the word making the rounds at the Monday Night Raw tapings in Memphis is that Jerry “The King” Lawler has signed a new deal.
It was also noted that Jerry Lawler’s current deal with WWE was set to expire at the end of the year, but he will remain with the company There’s currently no word on the length of the new deal that he signed.
Lawler still makes appearances on WWE programming and he recently worked the kickoff show for the Survivor Series pay-per-view a few weeks ago.
Jerry “The King” Lawler still occasionally competes in the ring outside of WWE, and he also operates King Jerry Lawler’s Hall of Fame Bar & Grille in Memphis. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
