It’s been a year of big departures for WWE as a number of contracts have expired in recent months. Now it’s being reported that a former WWE Women’s Champion has finished up with the company.

PWInsider is reporting they’ve confirmed with multiple sources that WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix is no longer under contract. Recently there’s been talk of Beth Phoenix’s status after she was removed from the roster on WWE’s website, and now it seems that she is officially done with the company.

Beth Phoenix first made her main roster debut with WWE in 2006 and she stayed with the company through 2012. Phoenix was then inducted into the Hall of Famer in 2017 and she became a commentator for the company in 2018. In 2019, Beth Phoenix came out of retirement and returned to the ring. She last wrestled for WWE in February of 2023 when she teamed up with her husband Adam Copeland to defeat Finn Balor and Rhea Ripley at the Elimination Chamber premium live event.

Following his departure from WWE in 2023, Adam Copeland went on to join AEW, but he is currently sidelined due to injury. There’s no word on what’s next for Beth Phoenix, or if she could potentially show up in AEW at some point in the future.
