It’s certainly not unheard of for wrestling personalities to get involved with politics. Current United States President Donald Trump is a WWE Hall of Famer after all.
Now it seems that another WWE Hall of Famer is considering running for President of the United States.
Former Minnesota Governor Jesse Ventura recently took to Twitter to criticize Democrats and Republicans. Fans then asked Ventura about possibly running for President of the United States, and he noted that he had no plans to do so.
However, it seems that Ventura has since changed his mind as he recently took to Twitter to say he’s going to “test the waters.”
“OK, I’ve decided I’m going to test the waters. IF I were going to run for president, the GREEN party would be my first choice. I’ve endorsed the party and I’m testing the waters.

“To be clear: I haven’t filed anything. I authorized a letter of interest that was sent on my behalf to the Greens and I’m testing the waters for Green Party nomination. I’m an independent. I’m not a Democrat or a Republican because I know they’re not the solution.”
