WrestleMania brings out all of the biggest stars and this year will be a very special time for a lot of people. The first-ever WrestleMania Women’s Battle Royal is going to be an intense contest and everyone involved really wants to pull down the big victory.
This battle royal might have been named after the Fabulous Moolah for a cup of coffee, but just because there was a public outcry and a possible problem with Snickers doesn’t mean the match is off. The WrestleMania Women’s Battle Royal is still on in a big way and now there is even more of a reason to be excited.
It was previously reported how Lilian Garcia will be the special guest ring announcer during the WrestleMania Women’s Battle Royal but another big name from the past will also be a part of the event.
Beth Pheonix cut her teeth in the announce booth in front of our eyes with her first try at commentary being a six-woman tag match during a recap episode for the Mae Young Classic. She continued her announcing journey during the WWE Mixed Match Challenge tournament and recently wrapped up those duties.
But the WWE Hall Of Famer will be joining the announce team for the first-ever WrestleMania Women’s Battle Royal for WrestleMania. This is another reason why it’s kind of a shame that this big match will be on the kickoff show. But on the plus side, if the WrestleMania Women’s Battle Royal is in the second hour of the kickoff show, then it will be on the USA Network so there could likely be a lot of eyes on that show.
WrestleMania is always a great time and with Beth Pheonix involved in the big night, this just gives us another familiar face to make it feel even more like the kind of family reunion you actually want to go to.
