Tessa Blanchard recently picked up a big win when she defeated Sami Callihan at Impact Wrestling’s Hard To Kill pay-per-view.
Blanchard made history by becoming the first woman to win the Impact World Title, and everyone seems to have an opinion on her historic moment.
Booker T recently addressed the title change on his Hall of Fame podcast, and he certainly wasn’t shy about expressing his opinion.
“I’m not holding my judgment on it, I mean I’m serious. Big ups to Tessa Blanchard because she’s good, she’s really good at what she does. But this is the worst idea that Impact Wrestling ever had in the history of their company.”
Booker T then went on to say that he couldn’t see Becky Lynch wrestling Samoa Joe or Brock Lesnar, and he doubled down when he called the title win, “the worst idea in the history of wrestling.”
