Since All Elite Wrestling first launched in 2019 the company has brought in a number of Hall of Famers including Jake “The Snake” Roberts. The former WWE star has appeared on screen working as a manager for Lance Archer, and he’s also done some work behind the scenes for AEW.
Even though Jake Roberts is already part of the All Elite family it sounds like he has a desire to do more for the company. During a recent episode of The Snake Pit podcast Jake discussed the possibility of him joining the creative team and he made it clear that he’s ready if the opportunity presents itself.
“Absolutely. I would love the opportunity. Just give me fifteen minutes a show. Let me put something together … I know that I can help. I’m begging for that job.”
While Tony Khan is the man with the final say various names have contributed to AEW creative over the last few years and it was recently reported that Bryan Danielson has been getting more involved when it comes to working with creative for the company. Do you think AEW should give Jake Roberts a bigger role when it comes to creative? Sound off in the comments below.
