Business has picked up on the road to NXT Deadline and it was recently confirmed that Ridge Holland will be challenging Trick Williams for the NXT Championship at the premium live event.
This week on NXT, Trick Williams made his way down to the ring to cut a promo which prompted Ridge Holland to interrupt. Holland was surrounded by referees as he started walking toward the ring when a video message from Eric Bischoff suddenly appeared on the screen.
Eric Bischoff said that things have been chaotic in NXT, and he’s really enjoyed it, but he wants to get a closer look. The Hall of Famer confirmed that he’s coming to NXT next week. He told Trick and Ridge that he wants to find out what makes them tick, and by the time he’s done they’re going to want to destroy each other at Deadline.
