A number of AEW contracts have expired in recent months and now another familiar name has confirmed that they will be leaving the company soon. During a recent episode of his ARN podcast WWE Hall of Famer Arn Anderson confirmed that he will be parting ways with All Elite Wrestling when his AEW contract expires on May 31st. Arn also took a moment to thank Tony Khan.
“One thing people know is that I am very appreciative to have been in this business for 42 years. I’ve often said this business does not owe me anything, I owe it everything. Here at the tail end of my career, I’ve been very fortunate to work for AEW and Tony Khan for the last four years.
He is a great human being, he’s taken the wrestling business and given it another option and a whole other category of what pro wrestling is perceived to be or can be or will be or has been, so I just wanted to thank everyone who worked there. They are all exceptionally great. Tony, we appreciate everything you’ve done for the business.”
While talking about what’s next for him moving forward Arn Anderson noted that he will be focusing on helping his son Brock develop and get experience in the wrestling industry.
