WWE Hall Of Famer Set To Commentate Mixed Match Challenge

The WWE Universe is about to get something exciting in the Mixed Match Challenge. After all, it’s not every day when WWE sets off into new relatively unchartered territory like they are with their upcoming program on Facebook Watch.

If things go well for WWE in a financial sense with the Mixed Match Challenge it could result in much bigger things down the road. Consider this WWE dipping their toe in the waters of unknown programming on the information superhighway.

Now it looks like a very exciting addition is being made to the program in the form of WWE Hall Of Famer Beth Phoenix because she will be included in the commentary team for this landmark event.

Beth Phoenix got some time in the announce booth during the Mae Young Classic where she sat in and recorded commentary during the six-woman tag match which aired during the recap episode before the finale. She seemed to have had a ton of fun as her husband and fellow WWE Hall Of Famer Edge revealed on E&C’s Pod Of Awesomeness.

It looks like WWE thought she did a pretty good job as well because they recently announced the Glamazon would be taking a seat on commentary for the groundbreaking internet tournament.

So you can expect to see and hear Pheonix on commentary during the twelve episode run of the program and if things go well, it very well might become a permanent show in the WWE Universe. It just goes to show that things are always moving in WWE and never seem to slow down one bit.

WWE Mixed Match Challenge will air live at 10 pm eastern starting on January 16th on Facebook Watch following Smackdown Live. Let’s hope it goes well so we can get even more of this kind of action because it’s already looking pretty entertaining already.
