Sunday night Sasha Banks entered the first ever women’s Royal Rumble as the number one entrant, and she went on to last longer than anyone else in the match.
Unfortunately for Sasha, she didn’t win.
In the end it was Asuka who won the first women’s Royal Rumble, and Monday night on Raw Sasha Banks and Asuka faced off in a one on one match. The two WWE Superstars worked a stiff match, but there was one spot in particular that was pretty scary.
As Asuka was standing on the outside of the ring, Sasha Banks went for a suicide dive, but Asuka halted her momentum when she kicked her in the head. Sasha then landed head first on the floor below and it didn’t look pretty.
No injuries were reported following the match, so it seems that Sasha is doing just fine, but there’s no denying that it was a pretty brutal bump.
Following the hard hitting match, WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley took to social media to say that he hopes Sasha Banks will consider taking the dive out of her repertoire.
I really don’t want to see Sasha try that dive again. Too many close calls. Time to take that item off the menu.

Former WWE writer Vince Russo got in on the conversation and made it clear that he agrees with Foley.
Thanks, Mick.

It’s not something I wanted to say @THEVinceRusso – but man, if I don’t speak up, I don’t sleep tonight. https://t.co/uPDXlUzkdw
