WWE Great Balls Of Fire Full Card, Predictions, And Analysis

WWE’s Great Balls Of Fire was the source of many jokes when WWE first announced the name of the upcoming PPV. But the card WWE has been able to put together is all serious business.

Several superstars will do battle and some of these encounters could get brutal. We’ll have to see what will happen in Dallas on July 9th. There are also eight matches on the card so let’s just get right to it.

Enzo vs Big Cass (Kickoff Show Match)

Yes, the Realest Guys In The Room finally split up and after a lot of focus on their program, their first encounter will be on a kickoff show. This might mean there are more reunions planned for these two in the ring. But it also might mean WWE just wants Big Cass to squash his little buddy and move on to bigger and better things. Let’s just hope WWE has something cool planned for Enzo to do after this is over.

Neville vs Tozawa (Cruiserweight Championship — Kickoff Show MatcThe King Of The Cruiserweights dealt with Austin Aries and it doesn’t look like A Double will be coming back for more. Now Tozawa is stepping up to not only try and represent Titus Worldwide but also snatch Neville’s purple championship. There could be a chance Tozawa might get the title from Neville but something about this situation tells us we’ll still have a British Cruiserweight Champion when Monday night rolls around.

Miz vs Dean Ambrose (Intercontinental Championship Match)

Miz and Dean Ambrose are going at it again in a never-ending rivalry that never seems to stop. The only difference is this time Miz has a couple new friends in Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel. With the insertion of the Miztourage into the picture, it only makes sense to give this one to Miz. If Dean Ambrose is able to capture Miz’s pretty white belt it might mean WWE is already souring on another Dallas/Axel partnership.

Bray Wyatt vs Seth Rollins

Bray Wyatt has been after Seth Rollins recently as he speaks in riddles and crazy metaphors. Seth isn’t backing down from a fight because he’s never been one to submit to anyone. Rollins will probably come down with the win here seeing how WWE is obviously positioning him for a bigger role on Raw in the upcoming months leading up to the release of WWE2k18 where he will be featured on the cover.

Sheamus and Cesaro vs The Hardy Boyz (Raw Tag Team Championships – 30 Minute Iron Man Match)

If you’re wondering why some of the matches on Great Balls Of Fire might be shorter than usual you can blame this match. But if you’re a fan of these four like we are, just strap in and enjoy the ride. It’s been said Sheamus is going to have to take some time off soon in order to shoot a movie so they’ve got to drop those belts eventually. This kind of stipulation usually spells the end of a feud so The Hardys might be walking away with the belts in this one, although it might be very unlikely.

Alexa Bliss vs Sasha Banks (Raw Women’s Championship Match)

Sasha Banks is going after Alexa Bliss’ Raw Women’s Championship and she means business. However, The Boss might not be able to pull the title off Bliss this time around. Word is WWE is headed toward Nia Jax vs Bliss at SummerSlam so this probably means Alexa Bliss isn’t going to be dropping her title in Dallas. But it should still be a good match.

Roman Reigns vs Braun Strowman (Ambulance Match)

The encounter between The Big Dog and The Monster Among Men means the second stipulation match of the night. This ambulance match is going to be brutal and might end with both men seeking medical attention. Braun Strowman is shown as the odds-on favorite to win and it would make sense because Roman can lose without being pinned in this kind of match. One thing is for sure that the ending of this match might go on to greatly dictate the path WWE is going with for SummerSlam’s Universal Title Match.

Brock Lesnar vs Samoa Joe (Universal Title Match)

This dream match will main event the PPV with the strangest name in WWE history. Brock might be favorite to win this match but the key is how strong they will allow Samoa Joe to look in the process. Let’s hope WWE sees money and allows them to get it on again because we can already tell just one match between these two massive men won’t be enough.
