Due to trademark issues there are some WWE stars who are unable to use their name when they part ways with the company, and Ryback has been at odds with WWE for years now over the use of his name. However, it seems that Ryback’s situation has changed as he recently took to Twitter to announce that WWE has given their resignation for the Ryback trademark and he’s currently waiting for everything to be awarded to him by the USPTO.
“WWE has given up and given their resignation for my RYBACK TM. Everything I have created has been awarded to me and we await the USPTO to make it official. The next chapter begins in 2023 now that my health has been restored. Never give up and stay #Hungry! Thank you Rybackers 🙏”
Ryback parted ways with WWE in 2016 and he went on to work some matches on the independent circuit. However, the former WWE Intercontinental Champion has been out of the ring since 2018. Ryback has teased an in-ring return several times, but it has yet to happen. Stay tuned for updates.
