WWE Executive Told Former Divas Champion That She Was ‘Too Ugly’ To Be A WWE Diva

AJ Lee is a former three-time Divas Champion and was once the longest reigning Divas Champion of all time. During her time inside the squared circle she became very popular with the WWE Universe.

It seems this popularity wasn’t mirrored backstage with all of WWE’s talent executives, as the former WWE star reveals in her new book “Crazy is My Superpower” which is set to be released in April.

AJ talks about the awkward interaction with an unnamed Director of Talent Relations who stated that she was “Unf***able and ugly,” he also stated that the people further up in the company also thought the same thing and that would then affect her regarding her personality and marketability as a WWE Diva.

It seems that AJ Brook’s new book could be set to ruffle a few feathers within WWE since she is no longer contracted to the company, it means that she is able to write whatever she feels needs to be said. There are also many rumors speculating that the unnamed WWE executive is none other than former Raw General Manager John Laurinaitis.

The former Divas Champion and current wife of former WWE Champion CM Punk left WWE back in 2015 following WrestleMania 31. She retired from the company and decided to walk away much like her husband did the year before, after spending four years on WWE’s main roster, AJ left quite the impression with many members of the WWE Universe and it seems she is hoping to continue that with her new tell-all book.
