WWE Divided On Possibly Signing AEW Star

Over the last few years there’s been a lot of movement in the professional wrestling world as a number of deals have expired. Now it seems that another AEW star is likely leaving the company soon as it was recently reported that his deal with the company expires in February. While Danhausen is certainly well known within the wrestling community it doesn’t sound like a move to WWE is a sure thing.

During a recent episode of WrestleVotes Live on Fightful Select it was noted that there are some people in WWE who aren’t interested in signing Danhausen.

“It’s an interesting one. I know people there want him to come over. And I know this will be picked up but I know people there that aren’t so keen on him and his talents.“

“So I don’t know where they’re going to stand when it’s time for him to come as a free agent. I’m sure there’ll be an offer. He’s talented, people like him, he’s over. I could see them making an offer, but I know some people there maybe just don’t get it. And that’s fair. So we’ll see.”

Originally Danhausen’s deal with All Elite Wrestling was set to expire earlier this year, but the deal was extended due to injury time. Despite the fact that Danhausen has been cleared for some time AEW has not been using him.

Stay tuned for updates.
