WWE Creative Team Reportedly Wants Top NXT Star Called Up To Raw

Between Raw, SmackDown and NXT the WWE roster is loaded with an abundance of talent, and in recent years fans have seen former NXT stars return to the brand after getting called up.

Finn Balor has found major success during his second run with NXT, and he even managed to capture the NXT Championship for the second time in his career. But some fans have wondered if Balor will ever return to Raw or SmackDown.

According to WrestleVotes, members of the Raw creative team have been asking for Balor to get called up for months now, but no edict has come down regarding him leaving NXT.

It’s also being said that the NXT crew “adores” Finn Balor, so he’s ok where he is right now.

Finn Balor addressed his current status during a recent interview, and he noted that his ultimate goal is to return to Raw or SmackDown.

“Absolutely, absolutely. I grew up as a wrestling fan watching WWE, and that’s essentially where I want to be performing. I feel like in my last run there I wasn’t doing myself justice and needed to change something. The change was NXT and I needed to figure out who I was again, and I managed to do that to some level, and I am definitely hopeful that a return to RAW or SmackDown will happen in the future.”
