Over the last few years fans have seen a number of names jump from WWE to AEW. Back in June of 2021, Malakai Black was released from WWE and he went on to sign with All Elite Wrestling shortly after. However, Black is rumored to be parting ways with All Elite Wrestling sooner rather than later.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that the word going around is Malakai Black is done with the company, although no one would confirm it. It’s being said that no one expects him to be back.
It’s also being reported that the talk within WWE is that Malakai Black is expected to return to the company when his contract with All Elite Wrestling expires. That’s been the case for a while, and recently there’s been talk about Black in WWE creative.
Tony Khan previously said that Malakai Black was under contract with AEW through 2027, but recently there’s been an update on when his contract is expected to expire, and you can get more on that here.
