Throughout this year fans have seen some major returns as names like The Rock, Goldberg, AJ Lee and recently Ilja Dragunov have all returned to WWE programming. Following AJ Lee’s return there have been a number of people calling for the return of Paige, and signs showing support for the former WWE star have been popping up in the crowd at WWE events.
This week during SmackDown a fan who was seated close to the barricade was spotted on camera holding a “Paige Come Home” sign, and the sign caught the attention of Saraya herself. The former WWE Divas Champion reacted to the sign when she posted “You guys make my day thank you for showing so much love with these signs!”

However, it appears that WWE apparently did not want the sign to appear on television as a video of the sign being confiscated has been making the rounds on social media.

Saraya finished up with All Elite Wrestling back in March and has been a free agent ever since then. In recent months WWE has given no indication that they are looking to bring her back to the company, and judging from the fact that “Paige Come Home” sign was confiscated at SmackDown it doesn’t appear that a return is something that WWE is interested in at this time.
