WWE Confirms WWE 2K21 Is Cancelled

The WWE 2K series has become a staple for fans of wrestling video games, but it’s been rumored that WWE would not be releasing another installment of the game series this year.

Today during WWE’s Q1 2020 conference call it was confirmed that there will be no WWE 2K21

“There’s not going to be a launch of the game this year,” said WWE interim CFO Frank Riddick.

WWE 2K20 was heavily criticized for having bugs when the game was released last year.

A former WWE games writer recently posted a video claiming the game would be cancelled, but that the series would pick up again next year with WWE 2K22.

The same writer also claimed that 2K will be publishing a different type of WWE game this year, from a different type of publisher.

Stay tuned for updates.
