WWE Confirms Rusev’s Injury, Details On When He Will Return

It was reported that Rusev suffered some type of injury during his match with Neville at Tuesday’s Main Event tapings but it was unclear exactly what happened. WWE has now released a statement confirming the injury and when Rusev might return.

“Rusev sustained a proximal bicep tendon rupture during his match with Neville at the WWE Main Event tapings Tuesday night, WWE.com can confirm. The match was called due to the injury, and the former U.S. Champion’s recovery time is currently slated at three to four weeks.”
