Former SmackDown General Manager Teddy Long recently claimed that MVP will be returning to WWE soon, and he also claimed that MVP told him Shelton Benjamin had signed a new deal with WWE as well.
MVP tried to downplay Teddy’s claim on social media, and although there hasn’t been any announcement regarding Montel Vontavious Porter signing a new deal with WWE, it was confirmed on SmackDown Live that Shelton Benjamin will be returning soon.
It appears that Shelton will be a part of the SmackDown brand as the announcement that aired showed a graphic for the blue brand. The promo didn’t show a date for his return it simply said that he will be coming soon.
