Sunday night the women of WWE made history with the first ever women’s Royal Rumble match, and Asuka went on to win it all. Now the WWE women’s division will be making history once again next month, as it was confirmed on Raw this week that the first ever women’s Elimination Chamber match will take place at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view on February 25th.

So far Alexa Bliss is the only participant confirmed for the match, and her title will be on the line.
This week it was also announced that the winner of the men’s Elimination Chamber match will go on to challenge Brock Lesnar for the Universal Title at WrestleMania.
Braun Strowman defeated Kane in a Last Man Standing match to earn a spot in the chamber, and Elias defeated Matt Hardy in a qualifying match on Raw.
John Cena faced Finn Balor in another qualifying match in the main event of Raw. Cena and Balor battled back and forth for a while, but in the end it was Cena who pulled out the victory after he hit Balor with the Attitude Adjustment from the middle rope.
More qualifying matches are set to take place on Raw next week.
