It had been reported earlier that Finn Balor may have suffered an injury according to fans that were in attendance at last night’s NXT live event in Nashville, TN. WWE has now confirmed that Finn Balor did indeed suffer an ankle injury and he will not be wrestling at tonight’s live event.

“Finn Bálor suffered an ankle injury, and will be unable to compete tonight.” Dr. Chris Amann told WWE.com.

The severity of the injury is unknown at this point and Balor is set to undergo further evaluation on Monday. Although the NXT Champion may be injured he at least appears to be in good spirits.
