This week’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw featured a Brooklyn Street Fight which saw Big Cass face off against his former tag team partner Enzo Amore. At one point Cass went over the top rope, and he landed awkwardly on the outside. The match was later called off due to injury, and Enzo Amore was announced as the official winner.
Big Cass looked frustrated after the match was called off, and medical personnel made their way to the ringside to check on Cass.
It looked like Cass suffered some sort of knee injury during the match, and now WWE has confirmed that the Raw star is injured. The following was posted on WWE.com:
“Big Cass suffered an injury to his left knee during the Brooklyn Street Fight against Enzo Amore on Raw, WWE.com can confirm. The injury occurred after Amore dodged a big boot by pulling down the top rope, sending Cass to the floor in the process. It’s hard to tell what the extent of the injury is, but we’re going to send him to get an MRI tomorrow and figure that out,” said WWE ringside physician Dr. Chris Robinson.”
Stay tuned for more updates on Big Cass as they become available.
