WrestleMania has come and gone, but one of the most talked about matches coming out of the show was Finn Balor vs. Edge inside Hell in a Cell. Edge managed to pick up the win and Finn Balor had a bit of a rough night as it was later revealed that he had to get 14 staples after the match.
Following WrestleMania Finn Balor also revealed that he was dealing with a calf tear ahead of the Showcase of the Immortals. Balor noted that normal recovery time is 6 to 8 weeks, but he managed to work with the injury so that he could perform on the Grandest Stage of Them All.
Fightful Select reports that there was some concern about Finn Balor facing off against Rey Mysterio on Raw this week because Finn was so banged up. Ultimately Finn Balor picked up the win after Dominik Mysterio interfered.
