In recent weeks Brooks Jensen has been claiming that he’s on his way out of WWE. Jensen has openly expressed unhappiness with how he was used in NXT on social media, and now he’s claiming that he’s officially done. Now Brooks Jensen is using his real name, Ben Buchanan, and he issued the following statement regarding his status with WWE:
“First off I just want to say sorry.. I’m sorry for how I’ve behaved myself on here and I’m deeply sorry for making an a** out of myself. As you have heard, today I’m no longer with the WWE as my non compete clause is officially up.
This has been a ride and I’m forever thankful and grateful for the friendship this line of work has brought and for letting me meet my future wife. So with that being said, thank you all for supporting me and being here with me through these times but today is only the beginning for the future of Ben Buchanan.”
Despite Brooks Jensen’s claim that he is now a free agent Fightful Select is reporting that he remains with the company. The idea is for Jensen to wrestle at indie events in order to sell the story.
