It’s no big secret that viewership for Monday Night Raw has been trending down in recent months, and the company has been doing everything they can to try and get fans interested in the show once again.
Last week Dolph Ziggler confronted Drew McIntyre on Monday Night Raw, and challenged him to a WWE Championship match.
The match was originally booked for this week’s episode of Raw, and it was announced that Drew McIntyre would be picking the stipulation.
However, the official preview is now listing the match as a non-title match. The following was posted on WWE.com:
“WWE Champion Drew McIntyre agreed to face Dolph Ziggler in a non-title rematch, but this time, he gets to choose the stipulation.”
At this point it’s not clear why WWE changed the match. Stay tuned for updates.
