Over the last few years WWE has shortened the names for quite a few Superstars.
Cesaro was once Antonio Cesaro, Rusev used to be Alexander Rusev, and Elias used to be known as Elias Samson.
Apollo Crews underwent a similar name change when his name was shortened to Apollo, but now it appears that the company has changed his name back to Apollo Crews, as he’s now listed as Apollo Crews on his official WWE.com profile.
No word on why WWE changed his name back, but it appears that Crews is starting a new chapter as a singles competitor, as he confronted Elias on this week’s episode of Raw.
