Business has picked up in the land of NXT as the stars of TNA Wrestling invaded the show last week. Shortly after it was announced that stars from both companies would be going head to head at an event titled Invasion on October 7th.
However, it was later reported by Israel Hayom that there was some backlash when it came to WWE holding an event titled Invasion on October 7th. The report claimed that the decision was viewed as “extreme insensitivity.”
WrestleVotes is now reporting that the NXT Invasion show is set to get a new name and it will be known as Showdown moving forward.
