The next pay per view for the Raw brand has a very unique title indeed. Nobody can deny the fact they at least giggled when they heard the name Great Balls Of Fire. When the logo for the event was unveiled it was almost too much though.
We’re not going to explain it, because this is a family friendly website. But the logo for WWE Great Balls Of Fire had the resemblance of a…thermos.
It didn’t take the internet long to start going off about the logo. Some were offended but most people just thought it was hilarious. Well, WWE decided enough was enough and it was time for a change already. They couldn’t change the name because WWE had to work out a deal with Jerry Lee Lewis to use it.
So WWE changed the logo for the upcoming Great Balls Of Fire PPV. The new logo makes more sense with that classic car feel it looks like they’re going for in promo packages. It looks more like a car emblem or a hood ornament. It was probably a better design to begin with because at least it didn’t have actually balls in the logo.
Kudos WWE, you dodged a bullet there.
There is even more reason to celebrate in WWE’s developmental territory other than just to be glad you’re in NXT in the first place. Two of NXT’s up and coming talents have decided to tie the knot and made the announcement official today.
There have been a few couples come out of NXT including Big Cass and Carmella as well as Alexa Bliss and Buddy Murphy. So this is just another couple from WWE’s outstanding college of professional wrestling.
Montez Ford asked Bianca Blair to marry him and she obviously said yes. Bianca Blair didn’t even have to say anything in her Instagram post today, she just had to flash that ring and use an emoji.
Congratulations to the happy couple from everyone at Still Real To Us.
