Anything can happen in the world of professional wrestling and last week Jade Cargill was written off TV. Following SmackDown, WWE announced that Jade Cargill suffered multiple injuries, and it was later reported that the angle on TV was done to cover for a legitimate injury.
Right now details regarding Jade Cargill’s injury are being kept secret, but it’s rumored that she will be out a minimum of three months, or possibly much longer. Cargill’s absence creates an issue for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship as she and Bianca Belair are the current champions.
WrestleVotes noted on Backstage Pass that the details are still being worked out, but the word is that Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill will be stripped of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.
If WWE does indeed move forward plans to strip the current champions of their belts then this would be the third time the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles have been vacated since they were first introduced in 2019.
Stay tuned for updates.
