WWE will be returning to India in December, but according to the Times of India, the company will now only be holding one live event in the country. WWE officials have announced that they are “combining” the December 8th event with the December 9th event to create one big Supershow.
“To meet the requests of WWE fans in India, and deliver the biggest main event in the country’s history, WWE is combining two nights of family-friendly action into a one-night only, exclusive Supershow,” said WWE in a press statement.
WWE made a big effort to expand their fanbase in India this year, and Jinder Mahal has spent most of 2017 as WWE Champion. Jinder was originally being advertised to defend his title in India before dropping it to AJ Styles last week, but now he’s set to fight Triple H in what WWE is calling the “biggest main event in India’s history.”
Fans who purchased tickets to the December 8th event will be able to exchange them for tickets to the December 9th event, or they can also get a refund.
The updated match card is as follows:
Triple H vs. Jinder Mahal
The Shield: Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose vs. Samoa Joe and RAW Tag Team Champions Cesaro and Sheamus

RAW Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss vs. Sasha Banks
