WWE Cancels Plans For Major Return On Raw

This week’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw took place from Ottawa and ahead of the show it was rumored that Trish Stratus would be making her return. Fightful Select reports that originally Trish Stratus was set to return during the Ding Dong Hello segment, but obviously that didn’t end up happening.

Trish Stratus was at the building last night in Ottawa, but left before the Ding Dong Hello segment took place. The WWE Hall of Famer was said to be in the original plans for Raw, but a creative change was made.

During the Ding Dong Hello segment Becky Lynch interrupted Bayley and she called Lita to come out. Becky & Lita then issued a challenge for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles which Bayley accepted on behalf of Dakota Kai & Iyo Sky.

The title match will take place next week on Monday Night Raw. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
